CELEBRATE THE LATEST LAUNCH FROM BENTSPOKE, IN COLLABORATION WITH THE PINK BOOTS SOCIETY
Meet the latest beer from award winning, local brewery, BentSpoke, in collaboration with The Pink Boots Society: MARION.
The Pink Boots Society is an international organisation that supports women and non binary in the fermentation and alcohol industry through education and mentorships, whilst assisting, inspiring and encouraging.
On July 10th, the first official Pink Boots Brew Day took place in the ACT, celebrating the contribution that women and non binary people make to the alcohol industry. 14 women attended the brew day, representing breweries and bottle shops from the ACT and surrounding regions. Co-Founder of BentSpoke, Tracy Margrain, led the day in partnership with The Pink Boots Society which was full or networking, learning and fun.
The MARION, was named in honour Marion Mahoney Griffin, gifted architect & graphic artist, also the wife of Walter Burley Griffin. Marion is known for her contribution to the planning of Canberra back in 1911. A representation of a talented and inspiring woman.
The Pink Boots Hop Blend Beer will be officially launched this afternoon at BentSpoke Brewery in Braddon. Pop by to be one of the first to try the ‘Marion’, along with some tasty canapés. A percentage of the sales of the ‘Marion’ will go to The Pink Boots Society.
