Tell us a little bit about yourself? 

Hi, I’m Chloe, the creator of Impress’d. I’m married with 2 cheeky kids and a stubborn Aussie Bulldog. I’ve lived in Canberra my whole life and don’t plan on leaving – I love it here!

I use to work full time as a primary school teacher up until I had my son. After he was born, I only went back to work casually. It’s awesome being able to spend so much time with my kids, we get to go on heaps of fun adventures together!

When I have spare time, I love getting creative and making things by hand. My mum is the same so I guess that’s where I got it from. 

Tell us about Impress’d Jewellery and how it came to be?

I wanted to get my daughter a meaningful personalised piece of jewellery for her Baptism. Somethingthat she would be able to keep forever. I found a piece that I loved online but thought to myself ‘I could make that’. So, during the long nights when I was up feeding my newborn, I researched hand stamping and purchased the different tools and materials I would need. I then practiced, practiced, practiced! I ended up creating my daughter the cutest little bracelet with her initial on it. I loved making something so special, that I wanted to do it for others as well.

So basically, Impress’d came to be because a sleep deprived mum decided it would be better to make jewellery instead of buying it haha
